It’s Book Sale time!
Each year in the month of October we gather up all our unused
donations, withdrawn materials and miscellaneous items and have a great
big sale! This year’s sale
will take place at our Onalaska facility beginning on Thursday, October
21st, 9:00am to 9:00pm. On
Friday, the sale continues from 9:00am to 5:00pm and our finale will be
Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
The selection will be one of the largest we’ve
seen! Don’t miss our special
deals and coupons. Check-out
at any of our facilities prior to the sale and receive a coupon for a FREE
book or magazine with any purchase anytime throughout the sale, with a
limit of one coupon per person per day.
On Friday, buy at least 3 books and select another 3 books of equal
value for FREE. Saturday ends
the sale with our Bag Day sale, with books just $3.00 per bag.
Regular prices range from $.50 to $2.00 for hard covers; paperbacks at
$.25 or 5 for $1.00; magazines $.10 each or $2.50 per bag; and
miscellaneous items as marked.
You can’t pass up this opportunity to fill your
bookshelves for the winter reading that’s just around the corner, and
you just never know what treasures you might find!
All proceeds from the sale come back to our five library facilities
in Bangor, Campbell, Holmen, Onalaska and West Salem.
The sale itself is predominantly staffed by
volunteers who represent all five facilities.
Without them this large scale of a sale would not be possible.
We are so grateful for the wonderful people who give of their time,
and it’s not too late to join in the fun!
